Assistant Manager – Off Page

Role Summary
We're looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our guest posting and link-building function. You'll own campaign strategy, manage a team of executives, oversee the publisher and vendor ecosystem, and make sure client campaigns deliver high-quality, cost-efficient links at scale.

Key Responsibilities
    • Own the off-page SEO and link-building strategy across multiple client accounts, aligned with each client's SEO goals, target markets and budgets.
    • Lead, mentor and manage a team of Executives and Sr. Executives. Assign work, set monthly targets, review output and run regular performance check-ins.
    • Define and enforce website evaluation standards (DA/DR, organic traffic, relevance, spam score, geo-traffic, indexing, outbound link patterns) and approve or reject publishers flagged by the team.
    • Build, grow and govern a scalable publisher and vendor network, including tiering vendors by quality, pricing, reliability and turnaround time.
    • Lead high-value negotiations with publishers and vendors on pricing, bulk deals, placement terms, replacement guarantees and turnaround commitments.
    • Own campaign budgets, track cost per link and drive cost efficiency without compromising link quality.
    • Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, from planning and sourcing to content, publication and live-link verification, so deadlines and monthly targets are met.
    • Set up and maintain quality control processes for live links, removed links, indexing, redirects and placement quality, including escalation and replacement workflows.
    • Resolve escalated publisher and vendor issues such as delayed publications, link removals, incorrect placements and unauthorized content changes.
    • Work with content, SEO and client servicing teams to plan link-worthy content and anchor text strategies, and to keep articles compliant with publisher guidelines.
    • Create and improve SOPs, trackers, templates and reporting dashboards to make the function more scalable and consistent.
    • Identify risks in link profiles and placements, and keep campaigns aligned with Google's spam policies and algorithm updates.
    • Explore new link acquisition channels such as digital PR, niche edits, resource pages and partnerships to diversify and strengthen link profiles.
    • Support hiring, onboarding and training of new team members.
Required Skills & Experience
    • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Guest Posting, Link Building or Off-Page SEO, including at least 1 years leading a team or managing campaigns independently.
    • Strong command of SEO fundamentals, backlink quality assessment and link profile analysis.
    • Proven experience running link-building campaigns for international markets, especially US, UK Singapore, Hong Kong and UAE.
    • Deep understanding of metrics such as DA, DR, organic traffic, spam score, referring domains, topical relevance and indexing.
    • Track record of building and managing large publisher and vendor networks, with strong negotiation and budget management skills.
    • Proficiency with Ahrefs, Moz, Semrush, Similarweb, Google Search Console, Google Sheets/Excel or similar tools.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn campaign data into actionable insights and client-ready reports.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence in client and stakeholder interactions.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple client campaigns, teams and deadlines at the same time.
    • Strong attention to detail, with a quality-first approach to auditing links and placements.
    • Up to date on Google algorithm updates, spam policies and evolving off-page SEO practices.
Good to Have
    • Experience with digital PR or content-led link acquisition.
    • Experience working in an SEO agency managing multiple client accounts.
